Erika is a passionate and empathetic advocate, with a zealous, caring approach to all clients’ cases. Though she began her career in corporate litigation and transactional work, she desired work that more directly impacted individuals and families. After dipping her toes into family law, she found her calling, and now focuses exclusively on family law and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). She has since established a reputation for being a skilled and trusted advocate for families.

Erika combines her years of experience with her compassion, grace, and strong advocacy skills to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients. Such an outcome occurs through settlement in most of Erika’s cases. For cases that cannot be resolved through negotiation and mediation, Erika uses her trial experience to fearlessly advocate for her clients in court. In addition to her legal expertise, Erika is committed to providing personalized service to each and every client. She takes the time to understand her clients’ unique circumstances and goals, and develops tailored strategies.

In addition to her work as an attorney, relying on her background and education in social work, she works with families to resolve disputes through a variety of resources and methods. Erika is a Qualified Neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota Supreme Court. Her ADR services include mediation, child-inclusive mediation, custody and parenting time evaluations, and serving as a Parenting Consultant (PC), Parenting Time Expeditor (PTE), and parenting coach.
